Achie’s Birthday at FELIX

Achie celebrated her birthday yesterday at FELIX, one of the restaurants owned by Chef Florabel Co. I found out later on that FELIX was named after Chef Florabel’s father. The restaurant is a mixture of Asian and Continental cuisine and is located in Greenbelt 5.

For appetizers, we had their Tuna Tartar and Oysters.

I had their Onion soup, hubby had their tomato soup, achie and mom had their mushroom soup (Couldn’t remember the menu names! ). I love the gruyere cheese on my onion soup.

We should have asked earlier what promos / tie-ups they had with banks. Using a BPI card, for every PHP1000 purchase, you get either a free San Raphael (Lechon Kawali) or Hanoi.

For entrees, hubby had the Ribs below. Taste was good but their not your fall off the bones type.

I had their Ferdinand – Sea bass and foie gras souffle. The sea bass was perfectly cooked but I was a bit ‘bitin’ with the foie gras souffle. 🙂

Mom had their Tango – Sea bass with scallops and foie gras. She loved the foie gras! 🙂

Atiu had their LC – lambchops. He preferred Cyma’s version though.

The kids had their Chicken fillet.

Dinner was capped off by their complimentary Isamu (Crepe Suzette) and Lina (Suman and chocolate). The suman on chocolate was very innovative, a unique twist to the typical suman.
