We were prodded by the article written by Anton Diaz of Our Awesome Planet on H Cuisine. Being near my office, we decided to try this restaurant for lunch today. H Cuisine is located in between Rub and Tomassi. We arrived a wee bit early (10:30) and decided to wait till 11AM. However, when we called them up, we were informed that they open at 11:30AM so we decided to scout an area for a project and come back. Along the way, we saw my cousin, Dr. John Tan and decided to invite him for lunch.
H Cuisine is owned by Chef Hannah Herrera with her credentials and magazine articles highlighted on a wall. The restaurant has a homey feel to it. Interiors were cleverly designed in blue and white colors. It’s a restaurant that you wouldn’t feel awkward spending an afternoon in.
ON THE TABLE
Breaded Chicken Parmesan Rolls (PHP288.00)
This was definitely unseasoned. It came very bland. We had to request Knorr seasoning for it. This would have been nice if it was seasoned correctly. A dash of salt and pepper would have made this perfect. We ordered the one for sharing.
Most Awesome Angus Beef Belly (PHP428.00)
With a name like that and a tag line of the restaurant, we had to try their house specialty. We ordered the one for sharing. The beef was definitely delicious. It was soft and tasty. Definitely a must try!
We ended the wonderful pre-Birthday lunch with a blueberry cheesecake (PHP88.00).
