Simple Eats: Mad Mark’s

07 Jan

Here’s another restaurant we found tucked in the alley of Kapitolyo – Mad Mark’s. Now this Kapitolyo area is definitely turning into a foodie area. Charlie’s and Cafe Juanita have really transformed this place into a must go to place to try out new restaurants. The street is lined up with restaurants such as Pocco Deli, Cab Cafe, and Nav among others.

Mad Mark’s is situated right beside Pocco Deli and Lia’s cafe. The place is a good hang-out spot. The decor’s simple. Designed with blue and white colors, it reminded me of a beach shack in California.

ON THE TABLE

Herb Parmesan Fries (PHP160.00)

This is addictive. Crispy and oily fries seasoned with select herbs and parmesan cheese.

The Zing Wings (PHP170.00)

Wasn’t too fond of their wings. Didn’t like the spices they put on the wings.

The Man Sandwich (PHP290.00)

Above is a half order of The Man Sandwich. Yes, that’s only half! Hubby had the other one. This is a mixture of beef and chicken topped on crispy bread. Yummy! The Mozarella cheese is melted to perfection.

Half Baked Madagascar on top of Java Hut Chocolate (PHP98.00 for 2 scoops, PHP68.00 for 1 scoop)

Both equally lovely but equally sweet. I preferred the Java Hut over the Madagascar. Will be trying the vanilla bean version next time. 🙂
