Day 1 of Expo Mom and Warren says “Balloon”

07 May

So, Saturday was day 1 of Expo Mom. I didn’t had time to prepare much for the expo because of the tons of work I had to do weeks prior. Managed to have a few marketing stuff printed – my roll-up banner, standees, flyers and calling cards. I also decided on the logo for Simple Bundles of Joy. What do you think of it?

Warren woke up at around 5AM and went back to sleep till 7PM. In between, I managed to prepare the stocks to be sold, loaded the van with the equipment and the stocks and printed out a few last minute stuff needed for the bazaar or expo. We left the house at around 8AM and was at Rockwell by 9AM. We managed to put everything up before the 10AM opening. Here’s our set-up. Thought it’s pretty decent and clean. Can you suggest any improvements?

I love the signage they gave us per stall although mine lacked an ‘s’ in the ‘bundle’ word.

There weren’t as much people in the expo at the start. After lunch, H and Warren visited me at the expo. At around 5PM, we left the expo to head out to Baba’s 3rd birthday party in Manila. We missed the kiddy celebration since it started at around 4PM. Good thing though were that there were still balloons left. I have a cheapskate kid. Balloons will make him smile. This video made my dad. Watch how he giggles and smiles. In the middle of the video, he follows H by saying “Balloon”! I thought that was amazing! He’s just 7.5 months now. 🙂

LOVE your logo! Simple, clean, and cute. They need this expo in California!! I love the set up, it does look clean. From my experience from going to different expos, they usually don’t put all the stock out but one of each sample. Other than that, I like it!

Wouldn’t it look like empty if there’s just 1 of each product on the table? If you have some shots of the displays in your expo there, I’d love to see them! 🙂

Speed Dating appointments are pre-scheduled and timed and are an ideal way to make new bseunsis contacts and to discuss interesting offers. Make the best use of your limited time by being prepared – do your research and come ready to talk bseunsis. Bring plenty of bseunsis cards, copies of or links to your media kit, and any other information that might be helpful. Remember, though, that most exhibitors are just like you and don’t want to lug a bunch of paper around.
