8th Santa’s Gifts Bazaar

Yey! We’re on again! This project of mine was temporarily stopped the year I got married and when I gave birth. Naturally, I didn’t have time to organize this. Plus, with lots of improvements in Quezon City Sports Club, finding the spot to hold this has posted a challenge. This year, we’re once again continuing this tradition and on our 8th run, we’re holding Santa’s Gifts Bazaar at the club’s “new” Sun Deck. This event will be parallel to our 1st Gourmet Bites, a food market within Quezon City Sports Club. Club members will get to taste one of a kind pastries and other delectable foods.

Santa’s Gifts Bazaar will run on 2 weekends only – November 24 – 25 and December 15 – 16. The Gourmet Bites Food Market will run all weekends starting November 10 – 11 all the way to December 15 – 16. It’s open to the public so feel free to drop by and shop! Will post the list of participating vendors here soon.

Here’s a quick peek of the bazaar posters which I had done by Souvenirlab.

See you at the bazaars! 🙂

Warren’s Circus Themed Party

Here are a few more posts of Warren’s AMAZING party! Sorry, I’m a proud mama! Proud that this project turned out better than expected. Proud that everything went as planned. No hitches. No hiccups.

Here’s an entrance signage (right picture) I had done by 4th Wall. Love Warren’s smile also in this picture with H. Makes all the planning worthwhile.

Our stage had this header on top. Check out the photos below for our full set design courtesy of 4th Wall.

We had these as our centerpieces. Each table is depicted with a ‘table month’. I printed out month numbers with a photo of Warren on that month. Our table centerpieces were either the faux pop-corn (Yes, they’re fake with glue caramels on top!) or the ferry’s wheel. Each table also had a votive of mini-marshmallow or chocolates. Unfortunately, the guests didn’t seem to be into either so they just ended up being thrown away.

For our program, I commissioned 3 acts (all courtesy of Balloon Republic).

Our host / magician / illusionist is Aldino. I didn’t get to watch his illusion but the smiles and the stares at the kid’s faces was worth it already. To entertain the guests while we were at the church, he did a few games which a lot of the kids participated in as well. Oh, check out the hanging acrobats on the ceiling!

Check out the lighted dance floors which all the kids loved! Warren loved it too and was the first one to crawl around it before the other kids caught on. The floors I rented from 4th Wall, as well.

I also got an acrobat troupe! This I got to watch! They were amazing! Apparently, they were one of the finalists in Talentadong Pinoy.

We also got a balloon twister. Picture on the right. Warren is so into balloons so I could not not have this in his party. Kids and adults got to take home some of his creations. I especially love his fish on hook design.

I think what made this a really kid’s party is the fact that we really had lots of kids on the party. We probably had a little over 50 kids in attendance. Here is a picture of half of them.

Quezon City Sports Club was looking to revamp their outdated menu and decided to tap The Souvenirlab to take the food shots, come up with a concept and to design the print menu. Check out the pages we did for their menu – QCSC New Menu.

Warren Update: 3rd Month Birthday

Today marks Warren’s 3rd month, 3months of blessing to me and hubby. 🙂 Warren was all smiles this morning while talking to his dad. Here are some pictures of him.

We attended a friend’s daughter’s 1year birthday today. Celebrated at Quezon City Sports Club, the ballroom was decked out in pink. To entertain the early guest, they had Happy Lemon, Sancho Churros, Photo Balloons, NYFD fries and Fish and squid balls available! We got our usual Green Tea with rock salt and cheese order from Happy Lemon. Tried Sancho’s Churros with tsokolate which was made on the spot. They had a machine that churns out the churros in front of you. Found this super unique! food at QCSC was a buffet spread – mushroom soup, birthday noodles, stir fried beef, salmon, macaroni salad, seafood medley and leche flan. Yummy!

We had to leave early to go to La Vista. Arrived just in time when the crowd was increasing and BUYING!

Hubby and I did a little shopping, as well. Got a lot of my gift list ticked off today. Here’s some of our finds at the bazaar –

1. Ear thermometer: Bought this for Warren. Takes 3seconds to get his temperature. What we have now takes a minute or so and that just doesn’t cut it. Price: Php1200.00

2. Maong Pants: Hubby was definitely in the mood to shop. He bought a lot of pants today.

Was able to find stuff for all my staff, as well. Next week will be our Christmas party.

Productive Friday

Woke up at around 6AM today and spent some time with Warren before heading out to Quezon City Sports Club. We were given a booth space to display our items. There’s a swimming competition being held this weekend at QCSC with 400swimmers participating nationwide.

Here are pictures of some of our items –

Had a lovely longganisa breakfast also complete with egg, garlic rice, papaya and binatirol Na tsokolate. Yummy!

I’m thankful this Friday for the following –
1. Time spent with my baby
2. A good night’s sleep
3. Free booth space to display our UNIFUNKT items
4. Having people to help man our booth
5. Clients who bought our goods
6. Lovely Filipino breakfast and lunch at QCSC
7. A good mani, pedi and foot spa session
8. Time spent with my brother today
9. Technology – television, Internet, wi-fi, iPad, etc
10. Having a driver to drive me around, run errands, etc

So, what are you thankful for? Take up the challenge. Write a comment, send me a link of your blog, and I’ll post your list here.
