Simple Eats: Tao Yuan

Today’s new destination for Warren is Resort’s World. I haven’t been around the area as well so it was a discovery for me. The ground floor has your luxury brands – Ferragamo, Lacoste, Rolex, Lucerne, Ascot Chang among others. The Mall had other brands as well – Mango, Hush Puppies, Giordano, and more.

Interestingly, there were a lot of food places to try – Mr. Kurusawa, Crisostomo, Parmigiano, Red Crab and Tao Yuan, just to name a few. Since I was craving for crabs, we decided to get a table at Tao Yuan. Unfortunately, since we didn’t reserve beforehand, we were seated outside.

I love the food served. We decided to try something new – laksa. It tasted really good with the squid balls, laksa soup and the big oysters in it. Of course the chili crab tasted great. Armed with mantou bread, I wasn’t sure whether to dip it in the condensed milk or in the chili crab sauce. As usual, the Hainanese Chicken was cooked to perfection. Total bill is Php2533.00. Expensive but it was definitely yummy! 🙂
